About Us

This is the GameWay Studios website. Pretty awesome, huh? Right now, I guess you're probably wondering something like, "Why on earth would somebody name a video game company after those really annoying safety warnings that my TV shows whenever I boot up a video game?" and I have three responses:

  1. This is a COMPUTER game company, not a video game company, you bonehead. Get it right.
  2. We thought up the name about two years ago or something, and we had no idea of the meaning of "Gameway" so, um, whatever.
  3. I already bought the domain, so there's no turning back now.

I hope that clears it up.

Continuing, we are currently working to make a game called A Touch of Insanity (AToI). AToI is a game about manipulating objects (such as blocks, wires, gears, and explosives) to achieve your goal. And with over 100 levels, it's a whole galaxy of edumacationamal-type fun for the whole family! (sorry, I had to do that).

Our biggest influences on the game have probably been 2dBoy, who made one of the awesomest games known to man or llama, Number None (you should probably go here), who made one of the most mind-bending games of all time. Plus, I was recently introduced to the Bit.Trip series by laying-on-the-couch-upside-down-browsing-through-WiiWare-games.

Um, yeah. So, for more information about AToI, me (Vince, the co-designer, animator, and programmer), Duncan (music and sound effects), Aaron, Luke, Jordan (designers), Nick, and Seth (animators, and 3D programmers), visit the blog (currently down for construction sorry! -Nick). Or any other page. Now that you're here, I can rejoice that another person who isn't me or a web crawler visited the website. Hurray. Huzzah. Et cetera.
